Scadding Court Meal Service – January 18 2019
A letter from the founder.
Last Friday we had our first dinner for 2019 at Scadding Court. It was a great dinner and a rewarding one. Usually the majority of people who attends these dinners, tell us thank you and that the food is great.
This dinner was a little different in so many ways. The people who attended seemed to be happier, and one came to the kitchen to tell us that she was happy to be part of the dinner. She felt at home.
An artist that witnessed how content everyone seemed decided to donate a few pieces of her art work for our silent auction at our next gala. She will also ask her friends to donate their art work.
Last but not least some people that attended the dinner stayed and helped put the chairs and tables away for the first time ever.
It appears that our dinners are really appreciated and are a success.
